Duff Street Reserve – Nature Play Space

Project Overview

CONSULTATION NOW CLOSED - we are currently reviewing feedback and will provide updates soon.

Ku-ring-gai Council plans to create a new nature play facility at Duff Street Reserve,Turramurra.

In partnership with students from Warrawee public school we have developed a draft concept plan and are now seeking feedback from the local community.

Project information

Duff Street Reserve, situated at the intersection of Duff and Cornwall  Streets in Turramurra, is the site of this pilot nature play project.

This initiative, the first of its kind locally, aligns with Council's Play Space Strategy by emphasising natural elements in play areas. We aim to create an imaginative, nature-focused space that encourages children's hands-on interaction with their environment.

Students from Warrawee Public School have helped us develop a design that respects and minimally impacts the existing landscape. As a local playground, it's intended for nearby residents and isn't expected to have any impacts on traffic or parking.
