These spaces will be designated for EVs, and the number of spaces will reflect the mix of non-EV and EV vehicles.
All chargers are rated up to 22 kW AC. However, depending on the type of EV you have, you may only be able to receive 7 or 11 kW.
Single and dual bay chargers will be proposed.

A single bay charger has a single port, meaning it can accommodate only one charging vehicle. There will be one parking bay marked ‘EV only while charging’.
A dual bay charger has two ports and can accommodate two charging vehicles simultaneously. Two bays will be marked ‘EV only while charging’.

Yes, all chargers will be powered by 100% renewable electricity.
The charge point operators, Plus ES and ChargePost, will be responsible for the maintenance of these chargers.
All pricing will be set by the charge point operators.
These chargers are fully funded by the NSW Government and charge point operators – there is no cost to Council to install the chargers.
All proposed locations are in free parking areas. Fees for charging may apply and are set by the charge point operator.
Electric Vehicles must be charging while parking. Fines may be issued for those who do not comply.
All proposals are 'EV only while charging'. Time restrictions may apply. Please refer to the links under ‘Location details’ for location specific information.
The total number of parking spaces will remain the same,. The proposals will be marked 'EV only while charging' and some may have time restrictions.
