Lady Game Drive, Lindfield - Proposed speed cushions at roundabout

Ku-ring-gai Council is seeking further community feedback on a revised proposal to install speed cushions on all approaches to the roundabout on Lady Game Drive at Highfield Road and Moore Avenue.

Background

The intersection of Lady Game Drive with Highfield Road and Moore Avenue has been identified as an accident blackspot. There have been 6 recorded accidents at the intersection, according to the latest 5 years of accident data.

The existing roundabout is quite small, with little deflection to slow vehicles as they travel through the intersection.

Previous consultation

Earlier this year, Council sought community feedback on a proposal to replace the existing roundabout with a significantly larger roundabout. This would improve safety by increasing the deflection angle, which would reduce vehicle speeds through the intersection. Feedback closed on 12 April 2026 and was generally supportive. Thank you to everyone who participated.

In June 2026, Council approved the upgrade, subject to available funding.

What has changed

Further investigation has found that the larger roundabout is not economically viable. Council is therefore proposing a more cost-effective option that aims to achieve the same safety outcome.
